FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LONGWOOD, Florida (November 13, 2017) – A1 Assets and the city of Winter Park are teaming up to host their second bi-annual recycling event of the year for the city’s residents to properly dispose of their unwanted electronics. This event was timed to commemorate America Recycles Day, a nationwide initiative to motivate Americans to responsibly recycle their reusable waste items, including electronic devices.
The collection event will take place on Saturday, November 18, between 8am-12pm, at Winter Park’s Public Works Compound at 1409 Howell Branch Road. During the event, A1 Assets staff will be present to collect a variety of devices, including computers and laptops, notebooks and tablets, monitors, printers, scanners, fax machines, gaming consoles, audio/video equipment, phones, household electronics, televisions, and batteries.
All electronics collected will be responsibly processed and recycled by A1 Assets in accordance to the strict procedures governed by the ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and R2 certification standards, which include the complete and secure eradication of all data contained on them.
“A1 Assets is proud to be a part of the America Recycles Day tradition for the third year in a row, and what better way to celebrate with a positive community-impact event,” said David Leavitt, Founder and CEO of A1 Assets, Inc. “Public e-waste collection events like these help bring awareness to the importance of keeping these potentially toxic materials out of our valuable natural ecosystem.”
