FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LONGWOOD, Florida (April 18, 2015) – A1 Assets is pleased to announce that Tampa, the third-largest city in the state of Florida, has contracted with A1 Assets to become the city’s exclusive electronic recycling partner.
As part of the new partnership, A1 Assets hosted a public e-waste collection drive for city residents to properly dispose of their unneeded electronics. The event was held on Saturday April 11 at the city’s municipal complex, and the turnout was very strong, with hundreds of Tampa citizens and families coming out. In total, 19,846 pounds of computers and electronics were dropped off for recycling.
“We are glad to provide this unprecedented opportunity for the residents of Tampa to participate in responsible recycling of electronic devices,” said Andrew Hoopper, President of A1 Assets, Inc. “By diverting these items from the general waste stream, we are helping to preserve the health of the environment and improve our quality of life. The great turnout shows how motivated these citizens are to keeping their community green, and we look forward to hosting more events in the Tampa Bay area in the future.”
