A1 Assets Teams Up with Education Foundation of Osceola County for America Recycles Day Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LONGWOOD, Florida (November 3, 2014) – A1 Assets is proud to be teaming up with the Education Foundation of Osceola County to host an electronic recycling drive in commemoration of America Recycles Day.

The collection event will be held on Saturday, November 15th, from 9am-1pm, in the parking lot of the Education Foundation’s headquarters located at 2310 New Beginnings Road in Kissimmee. At that time, computers, monitors, printers, phones, office equipment, stereo systems, circuit boards, and many more types of electronics will be accepted.

Proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Education Foundation of Osceola County, and its mission to bring resources and people together to support and enhance the education of our local students. The Education Foundation of Osceola County has been ranked eighth in a nationwide study of K‐12 education foundations by Dewey & Associates, and third in the state of Florida.

Community services provided by the Education Foundation of Osceola County include, but are not limited to: scholarship initiatives for graduating high school seniors, supplementing the recruitment of quality educators, enriching classroom environments, establishment of creative arts and career development programs, mentoring and drop-out prevention support for students, foundation of charter academies, and providing clothes and supplies for those in need. All data on donated devices will be wiped by A1 Assets’ expert technicians in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines and organizational best practices.
