LONGWOOD, Florida (April 7, 2013) – In a continuation of their month long celebration of Earth Day, A1 Assets is excited to participate in CNL Commercial Real Estate’s Third Annual Earth Day Fair. The event will be held at City Commons Plaza on Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando from 11:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, April 19.
A1 Assets will join other eco-friendly organizations in Central Florida such as Green Up Orlando, City of Orlando Parks and Stormwater divisions, and Keep Orlando Beautiful. This free event is open to employees of City Hall and CNL.
April is a busy month for A1 Assets, a certified electronics recycler located in Longwood: They will also be hosting two upcoming electronics recycling events in conjunction with City of Winter Park and Vann Data Services, Inc. benefitting Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation in Daytona Beach.%NEWSPAGE_START_TRUNCATE%
A1 Assets will also accept used electronics for recycling such as computers, monitors, laptops, televisions, telephones, office equipment, batteries, stereo equipment, games, and mobile devices. A1 Assets will wipe all sensitive data from hard drives and embedded memory of donated electronics according to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines and organizational best practices.
“We had an extremely successful electronics recycling event with Keep Orlando Beautiful back in February where we collected 25,000 pounds of used electronics, and we are excited to work with them again to continue to raise eco-awareness in Central Florida,” says A1 Assets President Andrew Hoopper.
