About A Gift for Teaching
Every year through a unique partnership, A1 Assets and A Gift For Teaching (AGFT) team up to help turn electronic waste into educational supplies. A Gift For Teaching is the primary provider of resources and tools that enable local children to dream, create, express themselves, and experience a sense of accomplishment. Since 1998, AGFT has provided students more than $58 million in donated supplies to 325 public schools in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. A proud recipient of the Florida Council of Sustainability’s 2007 and 2010 “Most Sustainable Non-Profit in Florida” awards, A Gift For Teaching has diverted 4,823 tons of electronic waste from landfills. Your generosity will allow AGFT to fulfill our mission by recycling your donated items which will be turned into cash to purchase the essential learning tools for disadvantaged students on a regular basis. Bring in your personal used electronics and we will recycle your items, which will then turn into cash to purchase essential learning tools!
